Born from a deep love for golf and a need for something different, Goatlane was created to rethink one of the game’s most overlooked essentials – footwear. Raised on the fairways, our founder Gustav Schauman saw an opportunity to bring something new to the game.
Merging Performance and Style
We craft golf sneakers that blend performance and style, designed to be part of the golfer’s journey from the course to wherever the day leads after, or vice versa. Inspired by Scandinavian design principles, we strip away the unnecessary and focus on what truly matters: comfort, precision, and clean aesthetics.
Each pair goes through a dozen rounds of sampling with our factory in Portugal to ensure quality, traction, and elegance before a golfer tees up with them for the first time. Each collection builds on the last, improving how golf footwear looks and feels – because we believe true design is never finished.

Goatlane was built on a simple idea: you shouldn’t have to choose between classic and modern. Gustav grew up with a deep respect for golf’s heritage and a fascination with thoughtful design. Over time, that duality became the foundation of the brand.
He drew inspiration from both the craftsmanship of traditional footwear and the energy of modern innovation. The name itself nods to mountain goats, known for their grip and balance on steep terrain. Those same qualities became core to how we define the ideal golf sneaker – stable, grounded, and ready for any condition.
